Seventeen days. That is all the runway left before the biggest concentration of watch brands to hit the Eastern Seaboard this year lands in Midtown Manhattan. WatchTime New York 2026 opens at Gotham Hall on 16 October, and for the first time in the event’s eleven-year history it will share the calendar — and, crucially, the street-level energy — with Windup Watch Fair and the private Indies.NYC gathering. New Yorkers and collectors flying in from Asia-Pacific will have more reason than ever to make the trip.

Here is everything you need to plan the weekend, from ticket logistics to the seven watches that should be on your radar before you walk through the door.

46 Brands Across Two Days

The full confirmed lineup for 2026 is WatchTime’s largest to date. Mainstream names sit alongside boutique independents that rarely take floor space outside Geneva or Basel, which makes the brand mix genuinely unusual for a US consumer show. The complete list:

Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Artime, Artisans de Genève, Bell & Ross, Bianchet, Blancpain, Chopard, Chronoswiss, Citizen, Cyrus, Czapek, Fears, Ferdinand Berthoud, Fortis, Frédérique Constant, Gerald Charles, Gérald Genta, Glashütte Original, G-Shock, Hautlence, H. Moser & Cie., Kari Voutilainen, Keris, Kollokium, Kudoke, Laurent Ferrier, L. Leroy, Massena LAB, MB&F, Ming, Moritz Grossmann, Norqain, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Perrelet, Piaget, Ressence, RGM Watch Company, Sarpaneva, Schwarz Etienne, Singer Reimagined, Ulysse Nardin, Urwerk, and Zeitwinkel.

The depth of independent representation is striking. Ming, Kari Voutilainen, Ressence, Urwerk, MB&F and Sarpaneva all under one roof is the kind of indie concentration that normally requires a trip to Geneva Watch Days. If your collection skews toward micro-brands and independent makers — and our guide to the best micro-brand watches of 2026 covers many of the names here — this show is worth the flight.

Seven Watches to Track Before You Go

WatchTime has already confirmed several pieces making their US debut or receiving floor time for the first time. Based on pre-show releases, these are the seven to seek out.

Watch Case Movement Price (USD)
MB&F SP One Pavée 38mm white gold, 255 diamonds Manual, 72h reserve TBC
Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold Gilt 38.6 × 35.5mm, 7.7mm thin Manual Calibre DR002, 65h ~$60,000
Gérald Genta Geneva Time Only Marrone 38mm rose-gold cushion Auto GG-005P, 50h ~$27,000
Zenith Chronomaster Solo Sport 40mm stainless steel El Primero 3620, 60h ~$9,500
Citizen ATTESA Eco-Drive 50th Anniversary 44.6mm Super Titanium GPS Calibre F950 $2,295 (ltd 1,500)
Norqain Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono 42mm carbon-fibre Auto flyback, 62h TBC
Bell & Ross BR-X3 Black Titanium Grade-2 titanium COSC-certified manufacture TBC
Prices as published ahead of the show · “TBC” = not yet announced · CHF prices converted at ~1.08 USD/CHF (September 2026)

The Citizen ATTESA anniversary piece is the most accessible piece in the room by a wide margin, and its GPS-calibrated Calibre F950 inside a structural-colour titanium case is a genuine feat of engineering at that price. At the other end of the spectrum, the MB&F SP One Pavée — set with 255 diamonds on a movement best described as kinetic sculpture — will draw a crowd regardless of where in the room it is displayed.

Oris brings its ever-expanding dive watch family to the show. If you are considering a purchase, our Oris Aquis buying guide breaks down every reference and price point before you commit on the floor. Similarly, Moritz Grossmann will be on hand to discuss their Glashütte movements — and if you are weighing up German independents, the Nomos Glashütte buying guide gives useful context on what distinguishes in-house German calibres at various price tiers.

New York Watch Week: More Than One Show

The most significant context shift for WatchTime New York 2026 is that it now sits inside what enthusiasts and trade press have started calling New York Watch Week — an informal name for a cluster of overlapping events rather than any single organiser’s marketing term.

Thursday 15 October: Indies.NYC, a private collector gathering at Hudson Yards (invitation only, approximately 350 attendees). No public tickets.

Friday–Sunday 16–18 October: WatchTime New York at Gotham Hall runs in parallel with Windup Watch Fair at Center415, Fifth Avenue — free to enter, no registration, over 160 brands expected, opening at noon each day. Worn & Wound, which organises Windup, has confirmed coordinated programming between the two shows this year. That means panel discussions and brand events may bridge both venues across the weekend.

The proximity of Gotham Hall to Center415 — roughly a 12-minute walk — means a serious collector can move between the two shows on Saturday or Sunday without a taxi. Plan accordingly: WatchTime opens at 11am, Windup at noon. Start at Gotham Hall for the ticketed brands, walk north after lunch.

Practical Tips for Attendees Flying In

Gotham Hall is at 1356 Broadway, directly opposite the Empire State Building. The nearest subway stops are 34th Street–Penn Station (A/C/E, 1/2/3) and 34th Street–Herald Square (B/D/F/M/N/Q/R/W). No bag drop is provided; leave bulky luggage at your hotel. The venue operates across two floors; VIP access on Friday includes the mezzanine-level cocktail reception, which is where the independent-brand presentations tend to happen away from floor noise.

Watch the full 2026–2027 watch event calendar for context on what comes next: the Geneva auction week follows in early November, and Watches & Wonders Geneva 2027 is already confirmed for April 5–11.

When is WatchTime New York 2026?

WatchTime New York 2026 runs from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October 2026 at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, New York City. Friday is a VIP-only evening reception (5:30–8:30 PM); Saturday and Sunday are open to general admission ticket holders from 11 AM.

How much do WatchTime New York 2026 tickets cost?

Update — October 2026: Friday VIP and Saturday GA have both sold out. Sunday 18 October general admission (11 AM–4 PM) is $35 and is the only remaining ticket as of T‑5. The Friday VIP + Dinner sold out in September. Tickets are available at watchtimeevents.com.

Which watch brands are at WatchTime New York 2026?

46 brands are confirmed for 2026, including MB&F, Urwerk, Blancpain, Piaget, Ulysse Nardin, Oris, Norqain, Czapek, Kari Voutilainen, Laurent Ferrier, Ming, Ressence, Glashütte Original, Moritz Grossmann, Bell & Ross, Citizen, and more. It is the show’s largest lineup to date.

Is Windup Watch Fair happening at the same time?

Yes. Windup Watch Fair 2026 runs October 16–18 at Center415 on Fifth Avenue, concurrently with WatchTime New York. Entry to Windup is free and requires no registration. Both venues are approximately a 12-minute walk apart, making it practical to visit both on the same day.

Can you buy watches at WatchTime New York?

WatchTime New York is primarily an exhibition event where brands present their collections rather than a direct-sales floor. Brands may take orders or direct you to their authorised dealers. Some independents do sell on the floor — check with individual brands ahead of your visit.

How does WatchTime New York compare to Geneva Watch Days?

Both events emphasise independent and boutique brands over the mega-conglomerates, but they differ in scale and format. Geneva Watch Days is a trade-and-press event at its core, with consumer access secondary. WatchTime New York is explicitly built for collectors and the public, with ticketed floor access, panel discussions, and a relaxed atmosphere suited to handling watches directly with brand representatives.

Update — 29 September 2026 · T‑17

WatchTime has published three new preview features ahead of the show: Big Complications Coming to WatchTime New York 2026 spotlights the technically ambitious pieces; Independent Watchmaking at Its Most Inventive rounds up micro-brand highlights from Czapek, Ferdinand Berthoud and company; and a revised First Look: 8 Watches to See supersedes the earlier seven-watch preview. Friday VIP tickets remain available at the time of writing; Saturday and Sunday GA are still open.

Update — 30 September 2026 · T‑16

WatchPro USA (25 September 2026) confirms the cross-venue programming between WatchTime and Windup Watch Fair is going further this year than a shared calendar date: panel discussions and brand activations will actively bridge Gotham Hall and Center415, while Windup has added eBay Live broadcasts to extend select brand launches to a global audience. The informal “New York Watch Week” framing — Indies.NYC on Thursday evening, then two concurrent ticketed and free shows across Friday–Sunday — now has explicit backing from all three organisers. If you are building a Saturday or Sunday itinerary, moving between the two main venues (a 12-minute walk) has never been better signposted.

Update — 1 October 2026 · T‑15

WatchTime published a second floor-picks article on 30 September — 8 More Watches and Mechanical Creations — covering eight pieces that sit outside the complications bracket already previewed. The list runs from the genuinely wearable to the decidedly not:

  • Jacob & Co. The Godfather II — 42…44mm rose-gold case concealing a music box that plays two film scores; one-minute flying tourbillon; $440,000; 74 pieces. Floor theatre, guaranteed.
  • H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine — 40mm anthracite-grey ceramic, skeletonised HMC 814 with double-hairspring flying tourbillon; 100 pieces.
  • Armin Strom Dual Time GMT Resonance Manufacture Edition Blue — twin balance wheels linked by the brand’s patented resonance clutch in a 39mm steel case; 50 pieces.
  • Keris Meca Tradition — 220mm desktop timepiece weighing 1.9 kg; 300 pieces. Not a wristwatch and arguably the most unusual object in the room.
  • Also on the floor: Chronoswiss Neo Digiteur Pastel Code (mechanical disc display, 48mm), Laurent Ferrier Sport Traveller Slate Grey (42mm titanium dual-time GMT), Kollokium Projekt 01 Variant “H” (488-pin luminescent dial, 399 pieces), and Hautlence Kubera Series 1 (jumping-hour turquoise minute cursor).

Update — 9 October 2026 · T‑7

With one week to go, WatchTime magazine has closed its preview cycle with 6 Must-See Watches at WatchTime New York 2026 (Caleb Anderson, 7 October 2026), adding six pieces not covered in the earlier run of previews. They range from a $2,000-band coloring experiment to a one-of-a-kind minute repeater:

  • Ming × J.N. Shapiro 37.06 Lightning — 38mm steel; guilloché titanium dial flame-colored with a butane torch (roughly one in three dials survives the process); manually wound Sellita SW210.M1; CHF 6,250.
  • Blancpain Lady B — 19mm lug-free spherical case, a direct revival of the 1956 Ladybird Bullet; auto Calibre 615 with silicon spring; $12,600 steel / $19,200 red gold.
  • Ferdinand Berthoud Chronomètre FB 3SPC.4-1 — 42.3mm black ceramized titanium; COSC-certified Calibre FB-SPC with cylindrical hairspring; 72h reserve; price on request.
  • RGM Model 501-PC Perpetual Calendar — 39mm steel, white Grand Feu enamel dial; ETA 2892 base with Dubois Dépraz perpetual module; RGM’s first perpetual calendar in roughly 25 years; $39,900.
  • Frédérique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture — slimmed to 40mm; FC-719 calibre, reserve extended to 72h; $6,195 on strap or five-link bracelet.
  • Chopard L.U.C Full Strike “Día de los Muertos” — 42.5mm ethical white gold; champlevé enamel calavera dial with baguette emeralds; minute repeater on sapphire gongs; one-of-a-kind; price on request.

Ticket status as of 9 October 2026: Saturday (11am–5pm, $35) and Sunday (11am–4pm, $35) general admission remain on sale at watchtimeevents.com. Note: general admission is $35 per day (corrected from our September 2026 entry of $50, which reflected 2025 pricing). Friday VIP ($225, cocktail party plus full weekend access) is close to selling out; the Friday VIP dinner has been sold out since September. If you are still deciding on travel, Saturday is the fuller day — more brands hold their presentations then.

Update — 10 October 2026 · T‑6

Sold-out alert: Friday VIP and Saturday GA are both gone. As of Saturday morning, watchtimeevents.com confirms Friday Night VIP + Weekend Access is sold out, and Saturday General Admission (11 am–5 pm) has also sold through. Sunday General Admission (11 am–4 pm, $35) is the only ticket still available. If you are in or travelling to New York and have not yet secured entry, Sunday is your last option to get on the floor at Gotham Hall. The Windup Watch Fair at Center415, Fifth Avenue — free entry, no registration required — runs concurrently all three days and remains fully open.

Update — 11 October 2026 · T‑5

Two panel discussions are confirmed on the watchtimeevents.com schedule. Seating is capped at 100 per session and described as “extremely limited”; proceeds from panel tickets go to the NAWCC School of Horology in Columbia, PA.

  • Saturday 17 October, 9:30–10:15 AM — “Why We Collect: The Many Paths of Watch Collecting.” Panellists: Maximilian Büsser (founder, MB&F) and Aldis Hodge (actor and collector), with a third guest still to be named. Büsser is an unusually candid speaker on the culture and commerce of independent watchmaking; given that MB&F is also on the floor that same day, this session bridges floor time and discussion in a way few shows manage.
  • Sunday 18 October, 10:00–10:40 AM — “Neo-Vintage Is HOT. Why? And Where Is It Headed?” Moderated by Jeffrey Kingston; panellists are Paul Boutros (head of watches, Americas, Phillips), Andrea Casalegno, Tim Green, and Steven Rostovsky. The timing — a month out from the Geneva auction week in November — makes this the right room to be in if you are tracking where pre-owned sports references and post-auction independent prices are heading.

Ticket status T-5: Sunday GA ($35, 11 AM–4 PM) is the only remaining entry to the main show; Friday VIP and Saturday GA are sold out. Windup Watch Fair at Center415 (free, no registration) runs concurrently all three days.

Update — 12 October 2026 · T‑4

New York Watch Week gains a fourth anchor event: the FHH New York Watch Summit 2026 is confirmed for Wednesday 15 October at Neuehouse Madison Square, the afternoon before the WatchTime VIP reception at Gotham Hall. Reported by JCK (9 October 2026), the free-admission summit opens with four panels: the future of watchmaking, what constitutes a modern icon, the perceived value of a watch, and whether the United States can sustain its position as the world’s largest fine-watch market. Registration is required; details at hautehorlogerie.org. The full four-day sequence now runs: FHH Summit (Wed 15) → Indies.NYC (Thu 15, invitation only) → WatchTime + Windup (Fri–Sun 16–18).

Ticket status T‑4: Sunday GA ($35, 11 AM–4 PM) is the only remaining WatchTime New York entry. Friday VIP and Saturday GA are sold out. Windup Watch Fair at Center415, Fifth Avenue (free, no registration) opens noon each day, 16–18 October, and expects 150 brands across three expanded exhibit halls — up from last year’s 140.

Update — 14 October 2026 · T‑2

The show floor opens in two days. WatchTime confirmed on 11 October which makers and founders will be personally present at their brands’ booths — a detail that goes beyond the brand list and matters if your goal is a hands-on conversation with the person who designed the movement:

  • MB&F: Maximilian Büsser — on the floor Saturday and on the panel at 9:30 AM
  • Kari Voutilainen: the watchmaker himself, at his standalone booth
  • Sarpaneva: Stepan Sarpaneva
  • Urwerk: Martin Frei, co-founder and creative director
  • Armin Strom: co-founders Claude Greisler and Serge Michel
  • RGM: Roland Murphy (founder) — his Model 501-PC perpetual calendar makes its debut here
  • Massena LAB: William Massena
  • Kudoke: Stefan Kudoke
  • Czapek: Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO
  • Bell & Ross: Carlos Rosillo, co-founder and CEO
  • Parmigiani Fleurier: Guido Terreni, CEO
  • Oris: Rolf Studer, CEO
  • Moritz Grossmann: Christine Hutter, founder and CEO

For independent names like Voutilainen, Sarpaneva, and Kudoke, a show appearance in the United States is genuinely rare — neither maker maintains a boutique presence on the east coast. The chance to handle the work and speak with the maker at the same time does not come up often.

Presenting partners and floor experience: Wempe (watch and jewellery retail) and Jean Rousseau (Parisian leather strap specialist) are confirmed as presenting partners. Jefferson’s Bourbon is providing tastings across Saturday and Sunday general admission. A portion of every ticket sold goes to the NAWCC School of Horology in Columbia, PA. Ticket reminder: Sunday GA ($35, 11 AM– 4 PM) is the only remaining entry to the main show at Gotham Hall.
